Mr. Amir Karimi, is a research lecturer in the Department of History Education at Farhangian University, Alborz, Iran, and concurrently a PhD candidate at the University of Tabriz, focusing on the History of Iran after Islam. He holds a master’s degree in History Education from Tabriz University, where his research explored comparative history education between Iran and Germany, and a bachelor’s degree in History Education from Farhangian University. Mr. Amir Karimi’s research encompasses history education, teacher training, and the integration of innovative educational technologies, including gamification, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and the metaverse, with particular expertise in bibliometric and scientometric analyses using VOSviewer and Bibliometrix. Since 2023, he has contributed to curriculum development, strategic planning, and capacity building at Farhangian University and holds editorial and peer-review roles for international journals such as PLOS ONE, the International Journal of Contemporary Islamic Studies, and the Journal of Learning for Development.
