Dr. Wójcik earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 1996 from the Agricultural Academy in Lublin. She pursued her Ph.D. at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, completing it in 2005 with a dissertation titled “Changes in the secretion of Ubiquinone Q10 and secretory parameters of bile in the course of experimental hepatic oxidative stress in sheep.” In 2019, she achieved habilitation with a thesis on the activity of oval stem cells and macrophages in primary hepatic cancer in humans and rats.

Beginning her career as a research fellow at the Department of Pathophysiology, University of Life Sciences in Lublin, from 1996 to 2005, Dr. Wójcik then served as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine until 2019.
