Dr. Chengcheng Hu is a computational materials scientist specializing in theoretical and first-principles investigations of advanced energy materials. Her research centers on the rational design of two-dimensional van der Waals heterostructures for next-generation alkali metal–ion batteries. Using density functional theory and electrochemical modeling, she explores interfacial mechanisms governing ionic transport, mechanical stability, and charge storage performance.
