Dr. Abuthahir earned his Bachelor of Engineering (CSE) in 2002 from Noorul Islam College of Engineering under Manonmanium Sundaranar University with distinction. He then completed his Master of Engineering (CSE) in 2009 at M.I.E.T Engineering College, Anna University, securing First Class. He has also submitted his Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering at SRM University, Kattankulathur, focusing on advanced optimization and computational offloading in vehicular networks.

He began his academic journey in 2009 at Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Engineering, Chennai, where he served for over 11 years. Since 2021, he has been with Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science, Andhra Pradesh. Cumulatively, he has 20 years of teaching experience, including both pre- and post-PG phases. His contributions also include roles such as ISO Internal Auditor, NPTEL Coordinator, and Department Placement Training Coordinator.
