Dr. Samyak Singh is a Forestry and Environmental Scientist specializing in biodiversity assessment, ecosystem services, carbon sequestration, and ecological restoration. He holds a PhD in Forestry and Environmental Sciences from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya and advanced degrees in Forestry from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. His experience spans doctoral research, ecological assessment and restoration planning for mining projects, and monitoring and evaluation of forest restoration programs under CAMPA. His research focuses on forest diversity, soil and microbial carbon dynamics, land-use impacts, and human–ecosystem interactions. Through peer-reviewed publications and applied fieldwork, he contributes to evidence-based conservation, sustainable forest management, and climate-resilient landscape planning.
