Mr. José Monteiro is an emerging researcher in solid-state physics and optical materials, with a growing focus on perovskite-based photonic systems. His work centers on understanding and optimizing optical phenomena in inorganic perovskites, particularly CsPbBr₃, with emphasis on photon recycling, excited-state interactions, and energy-transfer dynamics in hybrid material systems. He has contributed to advancing knowledge on donor–acceptor interactions in blended solutions of perovskites and conjugated polymers, supporting the development of next-generation optoelectronic applications. His published journal article in Solid State Sciences highlights his early yet impactful contributions to controlling photon recycling through engineered energy-transfer mechanisms. He has participated in multiple scientific research projects involving perovskite solution behavior, optical characterization, and material–polymer interface analysis. His research expertise spans solid-state optics, perovskite photophysics, and hybrid material design for improved optical performance. Through methodological support, investigation, data curation, and formal analysis, he has strengthened interdisciplinary collaborations in the field of organic–inorganic photonic materials. Although in the early stages of his academic career, his work demonstrates strong potential for innovation in perovskite-based energy transfer systems, opening pathways for tailored optical responses and improved efficiency in light-harvesting and emissive technologies.
